How we handle your information.

Plain English. No dark patterns. No sale of data — ever.

Last updated: 02 May 2026
In short — we collect only what you share with us, use it only to write back, store it in tools we'd be comfortable telling you about, and delete it whenever you ask. Everything below is the long form of those four sentences.

Who we are

Grihum is a private real-estate desk operating in Gurugram, Haryana, India. The brand is owned and operated by Homeway. Our RERA registration is HRERA-PKL-REA-3369-2025. You can reach us at contact@grihum.com or +91 97111 78618.

For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), Grihum (Homeway) acts as the Data Fiduciary for any personal information you share with us through this site.

What we collect

We only collect information you give us deliberately. There are exactly two places on this site where that happens:

We do not collect or store your IP address, browsing history, or device fingerprint. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. We do not run cookies that follow you across the internet.

Analytics

We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (such as Plausible) to understand how many people visit which pages. This kind of analytics does not use cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not track individual visitors across sites. If we ever start using cookie-based analytics, we will update this page and ask you for consent first.

Where your information lives

Form submissions and newsletter signups are stored in standard SaaS tools we operate (form processing, email management). We choose tools that are widely audited and that give you and us the ability to export, edit, or permanently delete records. We do not move your data to systems outside India unless required by the SaaS provider's standard infrastructure — in which case we use providers with appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep contact-form submissions for as long as we're actively in conversation with you, plus a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to 24 months) so we can resume the conversation if you come back. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe (every email has a one-click unsubscribe link). You can ask us to delete either, anytime, by emailing contact@grihum.com. We will action it within 30 days.

Who else sees it

The only third parties that touch your information are the form-processing service we use to receive your enquiries, the email service we use to write back, and (if applicable) the newsletter platform. None of them are advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics aggregators. We do not sell or rent your information. We do not share it with developers, mortgage providers, lawyers, or any other third party Grihum may work with — unless you ask us to make that introduction.

Your rights under the DPDP Act

You have the right to:

To exercise any of these, write to contact@grihum.com with the subject line "Privacy request". We respond within 7 working days.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material about how we handle your information, we'll update this page and refresh the "Last updated" date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll also email anyone whose information we currently hold.

This policy is provided in good faith and reflects how Grihum handles personal information today. It is not a substitute for legal advice — if you have specific concerns, please write to us at contact@grihum.com.
